"Hi my name is Adam, I am a 38 year old sheep and beef farmer in Dannevirke. A few years ago a few mates and I decided to shear each other's sheep to save a few costs. This resulted in a few sheep being shorn, a few yarns told and a few too many beers drunk. All in all it was a great way to catch up with people and get off the farm. I have decided to participate in this shearathon to raise funds and awareness for all the good rural people out there that are struggling with the high demands of rural life. I would like to thank my wife and three children for supporting and allowing me to partake in this outrageous endeavor" - Adam Roe

Adam is raising funds and awareness for the charities #Hear4U & The Rural Support Trust - Please type his full name when donating towards his efforts to ensure all funds go to the correct destinations.

Introducing our third epic Shear4u LEGEND, Vaughan Wrenn - who is raising awareness and funds for the amazing Breast Cancer Foundation. This team is made up of thoughtful blokes, charities can not do the work that they do without amazing projects, and events like these - #GETBEHIND this crew, and show your support followers":

"I am a 3rd generation sheep farmer based in Dannevirke.

As enjoyable as farming is, there can also be some pretty tough times too. Remembering to get outside the farm boundary to catch up and check in with mates is sometimes hard to do, but is always worthwhile, sometimes a chat over a cold one is just what is needed.

My love for shearing along with the importance of family is what has driven me to get onboard with such a crazy mission.

Breast cancer has hit me a bit close to home recently and for this reason my 24hr shearing mission is for this charity!"

    - GOOD ON YOU BOISE
