Shelley has been diagnosed with cancer, this page is to raise funds so that she can enjoy life with her family.
Auckland
Shelley, devoted mummy and a wonderful friend, teacher, sister and daughter to the Ross family was given earth shattering news in early May, when she was diagnosed with cancer. After further investigation, it was discovered that it has unfortunately spread further.
Shelley is a strong, independent, a lover of life and coffee, and an all-round amazing person. For anyone that has seen her teach, this is her passion and she puts all her energy into making her students thrive. I know she will be putting the same energy into fighting to stay with her loved ones.
This news has been devastating for all that know her. She is not the type of person to ask for help but she will require financial help to get to all her appointments, any future medications she may need that is not covered by the public health system and to spend quality time with her family.
She will be starting chemotherapy this month and we are all hoping it will slow down the growth and that she will get to spend a wealth of time with her family and friends.
Any help is appreciated, a donation, a message or simply sharing this page to the wider community.
Friend, colleague, past parent of one of her students.
Allow her to spend quality time with her family and reduce the financial burden of any medical and travel costs.
