SHERYL'S MENTAL HEALTH JOURNEY
Helping Sheryl to stay at Ashburn and aid her mental health recovery.

Over the past three years Sheryl has had some very significant mental health challenges and since 9th June this year she has been a patient at The Ashburn Clinic in Dunedin. The only avenue of funding for Sheryl has been a privately paid option, given the urgency of her situation. Sheryl is not eligible for Ministry of Health or ACC funding. The care and therapy is currently costing an average of $4500 per week which is creating the utmost of distress for Sheryl. This campaign aims to increase the length of stay available to Sheryl, and improve her chances of recovery. I am Sheryl's husband.
Use of funds
Money will be spent on the Ashburn Clinic residential and professional therapist fees. If there is an early discharge for any unforeseen reasons the money will be spend on fees to date.

We are both over-whelmed by the generousity of our community in the first 6 days of this campaign. Just an update note to thank everyone that has donated, or shared or even liked this campaign.
