This will be our last update to show you how much your support has helped Shiloh. As you can see she is making an excellent recovery and is participating well in her rehab (bring on the treats!) This is her third hydrotherapy session and her Physio is pleased with her progress.
We have decided to keep this page going for a bit. Shiloh’s operation took longer than expected so the vet’s bill was higher than anticipated. Thank you so very much for all you’ve done for Shiloh. She’s a strong wee girl and she is being looked after with incredible care by Abbie and her Mum. How lucky is she to have her own personal physio!
Shiloh now home on strict crate rest for 6 weeks. She’s wearing the cone of shame, when unsupervised for 6 weeks.
Shiloh’s surgery went well today. It was over 3 hours long. She is currently very drowsy on pain relief and a drip. She will be observed over night and Abbie will be picking her up at 9.30am tomorrow. The vet girls have been giving her lots of cuddles and she’s all wrapped up in a warm blanket.
Abbie would like to express her utmost gratitude for the skill and care given to Shiloh by the surgeon and nurses at Vetent.
Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Thank you everyone for your lovely messages and contributions. We will update here again on Tuesday after Shiloh has her surgery.
