Dog in deep trouble! Shiloh has had complex orthopaedic surgery amounting to $3400.
Canterbury
Shiloh is a nine month old Samoyed pup. She had a charmed life with her adoring owner until 3 weeks ago when she hurt her hip badly. An accident occurred and someone fell on her.
Unfortunately she has sustained a very serious, complex hip fracture which can only be fixed with urgent surgery. The femoral head has been fractured in at least 3 places.
Her owner, a young, hard working woman, cannot afford to pay the surgery which has now amounted to $3400. The xrays have cleaned her out, but she would do anything to fix Shiloh. Regrettably she doesn’t have pet insurance. The surgery is needed urgently so Shiloh doesn’t have to suffer any more pain.
Can you help out just a little? It’s heartbreaking to see them both suffering so much. We would be ever so grateful for your contribution. Together we can fix this!
I am a friend and colleague. I’ve always loved animals and cannot contemplate dealing with this myself.
Funds will be spent directly on orthopaedic surgery performed by a specialist veterinarian. If there is a surplus it will be put toward her rehabilitation/hydrotherapy costs after the operation.

This will be our last update to show you how much your support has helped Shiloh. As you can see she is making an excellent recovery and is participating well in her rehab (bring on the treats!) This is her third hydrotherapy session and her Physio is pleased with her progress.
I wish I was a member of your club even though I’ve not got a Samoyed because you’re all so awesome. You’ve done a great job with the auctions and been a terrific support along the way.
Jo!!! You’re such a big softy. Thanks so much for your caring words and thoughtful donation.
