Hi everyone, we just want to say thank you to everyone for your wonderful support, kindness and generosity over this past year. Your continued support and prayers have made all the difference to us.
Shiloh is now 17 months old and for the past 6 weeks has had her gastric tube out and has been eating and drinking well. The Doctors are happy with her progress and she is a happy little girl.
Thank You all again for your support and generosity, Take care ❤❤
Hi, would like to extend closing date at the family's request. Kind regards.
Hi Everyone
Shiloh and family are back home again after 12 days in Starship Hospital and just before the country locked down with the Covid-19 Alert 4.
Shiloh's surgery was from 8am to 4:20pm but successful and a huge thanks to all the surgeons and nurses who took great care of Shiloh and her parents.
The support received from family and friends was phenomenal and kept us positive throughout a very stressful time.
Thank you all again ❤❤
Hi Everyone, tomorrow is the big day. We have waited for Shiloh’s surgery to take place since January 2020 and now after five rescheduled dates for her surgery, Charlotte, Neil and Shiloh are now at Starship. The surgeon in chief, Kirsten Finucane made the last reschedule to Shiloh’s surgery to put aside the whole day tomorrow to undertake the surgery as it is so complex. Please pray for safe and successful results, we are trusting in God completely for Shiloh and her parents during this time. As you can understand, the waiting these past 3 months has been very stressful and overwhelming sometimes but we believe that the timing is for the best.
Thank you to Sophie at the Gisborne Herald whom wrote a lovely article on Shiloh on 14 February 2020 for Little Hearts Day which coincided with Valentine’s Day too! I have loaded the picture that was taken for the article.
And a big thank you to everyone that has supported Shiloh and her parents, for all your well wishes, help, prayers and love.
Thank you all so much ❤❤
Hi Everyone, just a quick update, we are still waiting on our call from Starship which will be any day now. But in the meantime Shiloh has taken her first tiny taste of food orally at 10 months old without coughing or gagging! Yay!! Now everyday whenever Shiloh sees us eating, she is now asking for some too. The first taste of food was some dark chocolate dairy food and her hands and feet started wiggling, she started to rock back and forth and was baby talking while tasting it ❤ After that decadent taste we have introduced baby food, custard, milky porridge, mashed potato and gravy. It has been very small bits of food (pea size) but Shiloh has wanted the food voluntarily and we are very happy with this tiny step forward.
A big thank you to everyone that has supported Shiloh, for your well wishes, help, prayers and love.
Please keep sharing this page ❤❤
Hi Everyone, trusting for a safe, happy and healthy year to you all for 2020.
The new feeding plan seems to be working, Shiloh still has daily reflux but they do not seem to be so often or so extreme.
All your encouraging comments and prayers for us during this time have been amazing, thank you again for all your support.
Thanking you all again for your prayers and support during Shiloh and her family’s journey and we trust you all have a wonderful day full of fun, pressies, good food and happy memories.
Have a safe and happy Summer and blessed Christmas. Thank you so much for your kindness.
Hi Everyone, Shiloh has been vomiting a lot lately due to the nasal gastric tube but she is still putting on a little weight and her oxygen stats are good. Lots (and lots) of washing for Charlotte to do as a result. We are going through boxes and boxes of tissues, nearly one every day as we try to catch most of the milky eruptions… poor darling.
We have been given a new feeding plan to see if it will help reduce Shiloh’s vomiting and dry retching so trusting for a good outcome.
Thank you for all your love and support.
Everyone’s thoughtfulness and words of encouragement have given us strength during the difficult times. All your sharing and donations have been overwhelming.
Thank you ❤❤
