Shoot for the moon, if you miss you will land amongst the stars

I am reaching out to seek your support for an incredible opportunity for myself. I have been offered the chance to attend NASA Space Camp in Orlando, Florida, in 2025. This experience comes at a pivotal moment in my journey toward becoming an astrophysicist, a dream I have cherished since I was just eight years old.

I am currently a Year 12 student at Selwyn College, where I have consistently excelled academically, achieving straight excellence grades throughout 2024. In addition to my studies, I am completing her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and am currently engaged in the Spirit of Adventure program this month. I also works part-time outside of school, diligently saving for my first year of studies, demonstrating my commitment to funding my education myself.

The opportunity to attend NASA Space Camp, especially during the preparations for the Artemis Moon Launch, would be an invaluable stepping stone in my education and career. The total cost for this trip is $11,000, which covers the camp, travel, accommodation, and related expenses. Unfortunately, I am currently scrambling to secure the necessary funding to make this dream a reality.
