Showing Alexa and her family support by sending them on a family holiday.
Avonhead, Christchurch
Three-year-old Alexa is a bright, beautiful, and brave little girl who has been fighting a battle no child should ever have to face. Diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare form of liver cancer, Alexa has undergone every possible treatment—surgeries, chemotherapy, countless hospital stays—all with a smile that could light up a room. Despite her courage and strength, Alexa's medical team has gently shared the heartbreaking news that there are no further treatment options available.
Now, with time being precious and every moment more meaningful than ever, we want to give Alexa and her family something truly special: a magical holiday where they can just be together—away from hospital walls, away from worry—surrounded by sunshine, laughter, and love.
This is a chance for Alexa to dip her toes in the ocean, feel the sand beneath her feet, and giggle with her big brother as they chase bubbles under the sky. It’s a moment to let her parents breathe, to make memories that will last a lifetime, and to fill their hearts with joy in the midst of the unimaginable.
We can’t change Alexa’s diagnosis. But together, we can give her and her family a precious gift: time together filled with light, happiness, and peace.
Please, if you can, donate to help make this special trip possible for Alexa and her family. No amount is too small. Your kindness will bring them joy, comfort, and treasured memories that mean more than words can express.
Thank you for holding Alexa in your heart.
Family friend.
The money will go into her mother's bank account, which will go both indirectly and directly to her
A special family holiday
Alexa's holiday 19 November 2025
Thank you to everyone who has supported Alexa on her cancer journey so far, and to all who contributed to the Givealittle page — your kindness has meant so much. As you can see, she made some special memories on her holiday up north, and that time together as a family was incredibly valuable. The cousins were all so sad to say goodbye when the trip ended. For now, Mum is waiting to meet with the doctors to talk through the next steps, and we’re holding on to hope and gratitude as we continue this journey.
