To raise funds to support Sue’s end-of-life care, show her how much we love and appreciate her, and how we care about her sons.
Queenstown, Otago
It’s with a heavy heart that I create this give-a-little as our dear friend Sue nears the end of her life. Most of us know of her struggle with ovarian cancer, her courageous journey through two rounds of chemo and then radical surgery as the cancer spread through her beautiful body. Unfortunately, that cancer returned soon after. She is now in palliative care. Sue is getting ready to leave this world and her three sons who are just beginning their adult life journey. A journey they will face without their mama.
I’ve known Sue (Squeak) my whole Queenstown life. We’ve raised children together, celebrated milestones and shared many moments. Since her diagnosis I’ve been on this journey with her and the boys helping to support Sue through surgery and recovery.
Funds will go to palliative care costs funeral and a celebration-of-life gathering. We will also set funds set aside to support her boys as they spread their wings and go forward into the world knowing that Sue’s friends are here for them.
Funds to be paid to Sue's sister Julia.
