    Its been a rough week. Truly has blown my mind how hard this journey is, and how many people have walked this path and still come out smiling.

    The day of infusion went well.

    I'm having TCH chemo which is made up of 3 different drugs.

    It was a very long day.

    The days following were honestly horrific. Physically and mentally.

    But, here on day 6 I'm feeling the fog shifting.

    Its become apparent that I definitely won't be able to work at least one week out of every 3.

    And that's ok.

    But it makes us very grateful for all the support we are receiving. It makes that possible to still live life comfortably during such a hard time.

    A big thank you for all the support and love. Our family really appreciates it so much.

    I just wanted to post a wee update.

    I am 3 weeks post mastectomy. Healing really well and getting used to my interim boob!

    During my surgery, they removed and biopsied 4 of the sentinel lymph nodes. One of those 4 did contain cancer, unfortunately.

    This means that radiation may follow chemotherapy.

    My oncologist appointment on the 24th of July will give us more information and a start date.

    I am extremely appreciative of the love and support from you all.

    This will help us to get through the months I may not be able to work.

    It gives me the choice to be able to fight, heal, and rest.
