The Summit Academy provides education programmes for kids with dyslexia. We need a school van to shuttle kids to a range of learning venues.
Auckland
The Summit Academy offers educational support and services for students and their families, with dyslexia and associated learning difficulties. We have been operating for a year out of a small building in Freemans Bay, providing small groups of students with immersive learning opportunities to help support their individual capabilities.

As part of our programme we venture out on numerous excursions in and around the city to provide the kids with immersive learning experiences, and we have tended to walk or car pool to get there.
The great news is we have secured bigger and better premises at St Josephs School in Takapuna. This means we can accommodate up to 15 students at a time, three days a week (our current maximum is 8). So now, in addition to our numerous school trips, we will need to provide a shuttle from the City to the Shore. It seems our small hatchbacks no longer cut the mustard.
We desperately need to raise funds towards the purchase of a mini van for next year. With your support we will be able to continue to provide our unique and essential educational programmes to a deserving group of children in need.
