Reasonable Kiwis with reasonable questions in media, medicine and academia - silenced. Funding for documentary post-production.

Silenced. Now in production.
A shoestring budget has so far tied together three core interviews representing media, medicine and academia in New Zealand. Their voices are fresh and familiar, credible, but cancelled.
Not all of the voices are able to be revealed yet, due to legal barriers. But one is Peter Williams - walking off his job with his integrity intact, in defense of free speech - just one year shy of a 50 year career in broadcasting.
This documentary is an attempt to reach across the gaping chasm of opinion and arrive together on a mutual agreement that freedom of speech and free-flowing information needs protection in New Zealand. We will gently introduce viewers to a couple of nuances of a greater public interest argument that should have been explored with more balance and less defamation long before now, in the public sphere.
We thank you for your consideration of donating any amount to help with encouraging healthy questioning of authority and shining a light on the shadows of censorship - because knowledge is power. And the power must be with the people.
This amount of money will cover post-production costs to make the final product high quality, with extra shooting needed to colour what our speakers have to say, and time-consuming editing techniques required to make for a smooth and stimulating watch.

We did it. www.silenced.co.nz, if you haven't already seen it.
I'd love to hear your feedback, particularly if Silenced has helped along any breakthroughs with loved ones these past couple of years have embattled you with.
Thank you, so much. This GiveALittle page really drove a sense of responsibility into me as people entrusted me with their money. I hope the outcome was money well donated.
Love Sam.
