Sima Devi, a devoted mum battling breast cancer. Help fund her crucial meds and support her recovery alongside her 2 little ones.
Massey, Auckland
Our dear friend Sima Devi is a beacon of strength and inspiration to all. Recently diagnosed with breast cancer, she is courageously battling through one of her life's toughest challenges. As a devoted wife and mum to two young children, aged 2 and 4, Sima's love for her family and her unwavering determination to be there for them are driving her forward. These are never a welcomed event in anyone's life.
Currently undergoing chemotherapy before surgery, Sima faces an additional obstacle: a crucial medication, Pertuzumab, which aids her chances at beating this, is not funded in New Zealand for her specific treatment (pre-surgery), creating an added financial burden during an already stressful time. The chemotherapy, medications, and surgeries are just the beginning of the journey. Despite these challenges, Sima remains positive and resolute, always looking to the future with hope and strength.

The funds will support Sima's treatment, specifically helping cover the cost of a non-funded chemotherapy medication, Pertuzumab crucial to her care, easing financial stress and focusing on her recovery and family.
final dose done & dusted 28 February 2026
Hey everyone, just wanted to update - I have finished my 6th and final pre-surgery chemo dose. There's a funny video of me marching out of the hospital, but I'm not sharing it on social media - Michelle's got it to share with close family and friends.
Next up, it's time to slay this dragon (surgery, woohoo!). I am in great hands with the amazing team at North Shore Hospital. Still feeling positive and determined, taking it one step at a time.
Thanks for all the love and support.
