Hey finally a decent figure. We have purchased the shower and have finally found someone who is not trying to rip us off. So the new target is much better, and the good news is that we don't have too much more to go. Then we will all be able to sing in the shower
Hi everyone, finally we have had some tentative pricing. all up we are looking at somewhere around $10,000. I was shocked to see that it could be that much. We even down scaled our plan to a plain large shower with no tiling, as the first quote that we got was for $17,000 OMG that is too much. Any way we have a couple of people who would be able to start the job in the next week or so, we just need to raise the rest of the money to pay them. Since they will not give a definite price due to the unlikely event that we have rotten flooring or something else unforeseen (very unlikely) we will set our goal at $10,000. if there is money remaining when the job is complete we will arrange to donate the remains to the Harbour Hospice who have given us so much support. Hi, our first quote was ridiculous, second contractor couldn't even commit to be able to do the job. The amount required will be updated as soon as we can get some one to do the job.
Such a mission, still have no quotes. Brent been back in hospital again, that makes 5 times so far this year. Not much singing-in-the-shower going on here.
