My name is Ngatupuna Peraua. I'm a 40 yrs old single mother of my 7 yr old son Rj.

My journey began in Nov 2023 when I was diagnosed with HER2 POSITIVE BREAST CANCER.

When I thought I finally had my life on track from being moving from home to home with my son to living in hotels because Kainga Ora had no home for us.

It was so hard and hard breaking for me as a mother with a clubfoot baby.

From visiting doctors since birth for my son who needed surgery and constant care was such a struggle. But we managed and finally got us our very first place call home (unit).

With everything I went through all last year with Chemotherapy, Radiation, Mastectomy and Immunotherapy thinking everything will be OK but on the 15 of May my CT scan showed that the Cancer has spread into my Lungs 22mm of size.

And my Oncologist has decided to try a new treatment ASAP. But as a single mother it's hard and I feel lonely sometimes going through this disease and seeing my son breaks my heart. I have stopped working for over a year now to care for my health and also my son's.

So we are both asking for help any donations that will help us through this journey and just to support us. It been my dream last year to plan a get away trip for my son and I just to enjoy relax and not think about treatments and hospital visits.

So I am asking calling out to anyone with a kind heart of giving to help us make our wish come true.
