We are members of SKCCW (St Mary's Kerala Catholic Community of Wellington) and we are fundraising towards the Kerala Flooding disaster.

Many families have lost their homes, businesses and all their possessions and have to start from scratch. Homes have been flooded and washed away forcing the young and old to move to public shelters. Many have no access to food and clean water and need our help.

Kerala has been devastated by this natural disaster and the flood waters continue to rise. Never before has this state witnessed a calamity to this degree.

We are fundraising to help provide basic supplies to the flood victims as well as to help rebuild their lives. The path to recovery will be long but you can help by donating below.

We are members of SKCCW (St Mary's Kerala Catholic Community) in Wellington, NZ- Many of our families have been affected by the Kerala flooding disaster and their homes have been washed away. People have evacuated to shelters and need help for basic supplies such as food, blankets and water.

Use of funds

We are fundraising to help provide basic supplies to the flood victims as well as to help rebuild their lives.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
