Have you thought about organizing some sausage sizzles at the local shops. The warehouse, MITRE 10 or other shops. I am sure if you rang around they would let you do it. It is not hard to organize and all you need is sausages, onions and some sauce and bread and they are a lot of fun. Most places have a barbeque or you may need to supply your own.
