Skyla's Adventures

On the 8th of August 2015 our lives we're changed forever when Skyla was diagnosed with DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma) A brain tumor with a zero percent survival rate.

Skyla has undergone radiotherapy treatment at starship children's hospital to slow the growth of her tumor, this has bought us some time and while Skyla is well we would like for her to be able to have as many fun experiences as possible.

With your help we plan to use funds as following:

A trip to the snow

Tickets to Disney on Ice

A horse trek

A flight in a glider or helicopter

A Puppy to share adventures with

All funds leftover will be donated to childhood brain cancer research.

Thank you to all the wonderful generous people who have donated so far, this had made such a huge difference in enabling us to have heaps more fun with skyla than we would have been able to otherwise.

She has been attending Riding for the Disabled which she loves, has had a fly in a helicopter, visited the snow (which she thought was too cold haha) and she got to see disney on ice too.

Future donations will be going mainly towards a puppy, something Skyla has been asking for for a loooooong time!
