As a small community focused trust we are striving to get enough money to employ two caregivers for a small group of very high needs people who have finished high school and are part of our community. We want our people to be out and about in Tairawhiti and do what interests them . We are seeking donations to start this exciting venture for our differently abled community

Te Hapori Disability Trust is based in Gisborne and dedicated to supporting people with very high needs who have finished with education and need support to enjoy a good life

Use of funds

All funds raised are to be used to employ two caregivers. All trustees and committee members are volunteers and receive no money from the trust.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
