Melissa's Destiny Rescue Trip

$1,698 of $1,500 goal
Given by 17 generous donors in 5 weeks

I am wanting to take over some funds to contribute in a small way to some of the needs that are present at the rehabilitation homes.

Auckland

Not only i am going over to volunteer my time, but i thought that this is a great opportunity to offer those nearest and dearest to me here in NZ to contribute to this worthy cause and send it over with me to distribute. My ultimate desire is to take some money over to makeover the therapy rooms so that young woman can do the very difficult and meaningful therapeutic work in a warm comfortable environment. That speaks to them of thier value and worth.

These are the following needs for the homes that i have been made aware of;

large mat/rug and some big cushions for counseling rooms

desks for staff

basketball hoops

First aid kits

2x guitars

badminton set

Melissa Roberts' involvement (page creator)

I'm involved because i have volunteered to go on a two week trip that is self funded, spending one week in Thailand and one week in Cambodia helping out and seeing the work that is being done by Destiny Rescue in the lives of the children and young people rescued from being exploited.

Please check out the video explaining the work that Destiny Rescue does.
