Snug as a bug online campaign
We are needing your help to provide a minimum of 50 cots/bassinets to fill the current need of children requiring safe places to sleep.
Auckland
Every year Mummys in need provides over 600 children with a safe place to sleep when they are at risk. These numbers come 100% through secondhand donated cots and bassinets.
Unfortunately with Auckland going in and out of lockdowns we have not been able to remain open accepting these donations which has meant the stock we have on hand is simply no where near enough that we are needing to successfully fill the orders of the agencies that require our help this month let alone this year.
We are wanting to reach out to our community and ask that you would please donate what you can to provide these children with a safe and equal start. $50 is what it costs us to purchase a second hand cot or bassinet that fits New Zealand safety standards. $150 enables us to purchase a brand new cot for a child. With this being said, even $1 makes all the difference to our children in New Zealand.
