Solo mum scammed of all her savings

$570 of $2,750 goal
Given by 8 generous donors in 5 weeks

Helping a mum and her kids get back on track.

Southland

Tess is an independent solo mum with 3 young, energetic children in her full time care. She was recently targeted by unscrupulous scammers and had her hard earned savings stolen from her bank account. She was left with $66.

Each week Tess had been putting aside small amounts to save for school costs, power and other necessary expenses. The theft of this money has left her unable to pay for household bills. We just want to raise what was taken

The scammers rang her from a private number posing as a bank representative advising her that someone had tried to make an overseas transaction on her account. It all unravelled from there.
