Chiropractic student mission trip to Rarotonga
I am a Chiropractic student fundraising the cost of a mission trip to Rarotonga, where I will help in providing free chiropractic care.

Hi there! My name is Sonya and I am the shorty on the left!!
In June 2016 I will be heading to Rarotonga for one week to help serve the people of Rarotonga with free chiropractic care. As a Junior Chiropractic Intern this is a life-changing experience that I am so honored to take part in!
Rarotonga is the largest of the Cook Islands, a nation of 15 islands in the central South Pacific. With a population of about 13,000. Raro is considered to be a third world country and healthcare is somewhat limited so this is a wonderful opportunity for the people to get checked and live a healthier life!
The total cost of the trip is $2800 and I am fundraising to help with these fees.
Financially it's been a tough year for my Fiance and I due to Matt having a rare form of cancer. He's worked hard on getting back to health but unfortunately he hasn't been able to be employed for over a year. So any little bit helps!

Tightening our belts.... 4 June 2016
Matt was diagnosed with T-Cell Large Granular Lymphocyte Leukemia last Wednesday... There's good and bad with this diagnosis, now we know why he's been so unwell but it's another 4 months before we know if his treatment is working. Funds are going to be tight but I am still determined to fulfil my dream and my commitment to our chiropractic abroad project. Thank you again to all of you who have supported me so far! Looking at another $1315 to keep us from incurring even more debt.... Thank you and lots of love and hugs, Sonya
