Hi Sophia, I think of you often and saw something on True Medical recently. I'm sure you have already come across the name Ken Ware by now? He lives in Australia to my knowledge and appears to have an amazing way of helping people with spinal cord injuries. The story in particular I saw was a man who had been paralysed after being hit by a truck whilst out cycling. He was paralysed for 25 years until he met Ken. He is now walking and training for a marathon. While I realise injuries like this vary vastly, I just wanted you to have knowledge of this person in case you hadn't heard of him and he could be helping you.
I wish you all the best for the future Sophia, you are an inspiration to us all.

Hi James, Flick and Sophia. I hope you are all ok and having a great day. I am following up on a message I sent a month or so ago - Sophia I write for Woman's Day magazine and would love to come and see you if it suits at the Spinal unit in Otara. I'm in your hands with this - I have over the years made a documentary on the Catwalk Trust, and also told the inspirational story on Cat, and her drive to see others walk again. I would love to meet you and know already you will be an inspiration to many other young people with spinal injuries. Let me know your thoughts - my cell is 021 389 083. Best, Alison Horwood

Hi Alison, James here, thank you for making contact apologies for the late response. Sophia has to use voice activation to text and this can be difficult at times. Sophia would love to share her story and regardless of the outcome of the various therapies she will try, I'm sure that some poeple could find them of use. We will come back to you soon. Best wishes, James, Flick and Sophia
