New Zealand’s Top Junior Dancer

SOPHIE JOHNSTONE

Sophie is 9 years old and lives and trains in North Canterbury. Her dancing repertoire includes: Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop & Tap.

Sophie recently competed at the New Zealand Dance Awards and was awarded the highest title of NEW ZEALAND’S TOP JUNIOR DANCER.

An overseas judge regarded her as ‘a pocket sized package of perfection!’

As a result Sophie has won direct entry into the ‘Dancer of the Year’ finals which will be held at the Australian ‘Hollywood Bound’ National Dance Championships, where she will compete alongside the ‘best of the best’ international competitors for dancing supremacy!
