Sound of Latin America is a Journey into the evolution of Latin American Music, sharing live rhythms of our roots around New Zealand.

Canterbury

¨Sound of Latin America¨ is a pop-up show of the history and evolution of latin american music.

I want New Zealanders and other immigrants to have a closer and more profound look to Latin American countries, so they can know a bit more about our lives, costums and history. Let their references go further than “Dora, the explorer” or the “Macarena” as these are the most common references to Spanish speakers from Anglo-saxon people.

Music is a key to show to the world who we are, our vision of life and add latin rythms and flavors.

DJ Dlatino will play live and mix a variaty of latin sounds from salsa, tango, fusion, cumbia up to what is on the radios nowadays in South America.

Use of funds

Rent Sound System, vehicle rental, petrol, buy material for exposition, cover hours of work, cover hours of research, cost of promotion and advertise, cost of coordination with every city where the exposition will be running.
