Marlborough Sounds 2 Milford Sound: Lynne’s 1500km cycle for Outward Bound.

Hi, I'm Lynne Vautier

I’m cycling 1500km from Queen Charlotte Sound to Milford Sound - and I want this journey to open the door to an Outward Bound adventure for someone else.

My goal is to raise $4,500 to help another person aged 60 or over who is affected by cancer to participate in an Outward Bound 60+ one week course.

In conjunction with the Palmerston North Oncology centre at Crest Specialist Centre, suitable patients will be asked to apply to Lynne for the funded Outward Bound 60+ course in 2027. We will publish the selected person's name and attendance dates. This is about giving someone something to look forward to: a personal challenge, time outdoors and the opportunity to discover what they can do.

As I make my way south, I’ll share photos and stories from the road - the beautiful places, the challenging days and the people who make the journey special.
