We cycled for 33km and it was gnarly and challenging in places - with spectacular views!
Furneaux lodge was closed for renovations and we had a few bike troubles - so a 90 minute water taxi boat trip back to Picton was a welcome relief.
We stood beneath a magnificent 1000 year old Puhikeruru Rimu tree and felt very small.
Lots of love

Here’s the happy faces of our Sounds 2 Sound cycle ride!
Wish us luck over the next 1500km!!
I was thrilled with the warm welcome I received at Outward Bound - it was very emotional for me.
We travelled 46km in 6 hours today - and although it was a struggle to stay on the Queen Charlotte track - the views were amazing and I feel fabulous!
Popped in to see pharmacists friends Isobel and Graeme in Picton.
All in all a great day..... living the dream!
