South Kaipara Clean Up

$185 donated
Given by 7 generous donors in 6 weeks

Donations towards the disposal of the rubbish that we will clean up from the beach - non profit - just in it for the community.

Auckland

Hi there!

I have set up this page in hopes to fund raise a little money to cover the costs of disposing rubbish that the South Kaipara Clean Up group collect from Muriwai Beach and surrounding areas.

It costs $50 to dispose of one trailer load of rubbish, which unfortunately, is only too easy to collect from the beach.

Any donations are greatly appreciated and are spent strictly on disposing the rubbish correctly.

Use of funds

$50 will cover one trailer load of rubbish.

$400 would cover the hireage of a skip bin.

Other treats such as black sacks or money towards fuel would be a dream come true but we aren’t asking for a miracle, just a clean and beautiful beach.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
