Help needed for Sparky’s big vet bills!

As most of you know, Sparky has been very sick (with what has now been diagnosed as a bacterial crop infection) for the past week: vomiting, refusing to eat, pooping only urates, very lethargic and wobbly on his feet and lost a total of 20g grams. After attending two vet appointments (16 and 17 Feb) requiring x3 medications, x1 pain relief, comprehensive blood tests, crop & faecal cytology testing and a day stay at the vet for subcutaneous fluid therapy, the fees were much higher than I could manage.
After losing my father to cancer last year and being hospitalised and diagnosed with an auto immune kidney disease (at the same time), I left my job 4 months ago for my physical and mental health. It hurts my pride to admit that financially I am struggling to afford Sparky’s vet bill and would appreciate any small amount that can assist us during this really crappy time!

Our page has officially closed and we just wanted to say another huge thank you to everyone who helped out during this difficult time, whether it was donations, gifts, flowers or visits to the house for company! We are so incredibly grateful for all of you 💛🩷🧡
Peanut is really missing his buddy and has definitely been quieter and eating less, we hope he starts to feel like himself again soon!
We have created a beautiful shelf to remember our beloved Sparky and his ashes reside in a gorgeous white bird urn we can treasure forever.
Thanks again everyone, we truly couldn’t have given Sparky every chance without you. May our beautiful banana boy rest in peace and happiness forever! 🕊️💛
