SplashSave - Swimming Skills for All

$40 of $1,250 goal
Given by 3 generous donors in 5 weeks

Support kids aged 0-5 to learn how to swim with their parent / caregiver as their teacher.

Nationwide

SplashSave is a social enterprise on a mission to reduce global drowning rates for kids under five.

We provide swim teaching materials (The SplashSave Pack) to parents / caregivers of 0-5 year old kids so they can enjoy the fun and rewarding experience of teaching their child to swim. It's great fun, saves money and ultimately saves lives.

SplashSave does two things:

We raise funds to deliver projects that provide SplashSave Packs for free to the communities that need them the most.

We sell packs to parents who can afford them (a small cost compared to swim lessons) and 20% of

proceeds from each pack bought goes back towards our fund raising projects.

You can help in one of two ways:

Make a donation here and 100% of this will help directly with our current project.

Visit our website www.splashsave.org and buy a pack for yourself, or for a loved one and 20% of proceeds go towards our current project.

SplashSave is partnered and supported by Water Safety New Zealand, Parent Centre, ACC and the Kohanga Reo Trust.

Previous Projects

$30,000 raised to provide free packs to higher risk communities in partnership with Water Safety New Zealand & Plunket

$20,000 raised to translate materials into Te Reo Maori and provide free packs in partnership with ACC, Water Safety New Zealand and through the Kohanga Reo Trust

About us

SplashSave is a social enterprise that works alongside Water Safety New Zealand and swimming New Zealand to deliver a whanau led water safety safety program.

We believe parents teaching their own Tamariki the basics of swimming and water safety will allow future generations to enjoy New Zealand’s playground safely and lower the horrific drowning toll in this country.

20% of all proceeds go directly to higher risk drowning groups including free education to enable communities to teach themselves swimming and water safety skills.

Use of funds

The Northland Project.

The Northland District has some of the worst water safety statistics in New Zealand.

The Northland Project is looking to raise $1,250 to reach approximately 150 higher risk kids with water safety education materials.
