Please help with Spock the dog's surgery costs

I completely see the irony of a vet asking for financial help with a vet bill but unfortunately life has just thrown me one curve ball after the next for the past 6 months....

I'm not an orthopedic surgeon and need our ortho vets skill to fix Spocks broken femur.... he did not handle the pain well and unfortunately needed heavy sedation for most of the time between breaking the leg and getting it repaired which has cost over $1000 just on its own....

I don't normally ask for help but I'm really struggling at this point in time and appreciate any help offered with paying Spocks repair bill which I've just been told will most likely be around $5300

I am honestly blown away by everyone's generosity. You have no idea how much it means to me especially after losing my best buddy Maverick (my cat) only a week later...

Spock is now 2 weeks post surgery and walking on the leg (and finally able to have his cone off much to his delight!). Now starts the 6- 8 week rehabilitation process which Spock will hate almost more than the cone as ill need to keep him on a lead... we'll get there, he's already trying to jump up on both back legs lol.... pet insurance before this rehab period is complete.....
