Spread the Joy, Help Us Bring Christmas Magic to the Nelson Community!

Hey! We are a small group of Nayland College students from Nelson, New Zealand. As we are in a LAUNCH class, our last project of the year is to do some good to the community. As its getting closer to the holiday season, our group has decided to try and make a meaningful difference by giving to less fortunate children aged between 4-6 years.

We know that for many families, Christmas can bring financial pressure and stress, with the cost of gifts, food, and celebrations adding up quickly. Our goal is to ease these times and fill these packages with canned food to help with holiday meals, toys to bring joy to kids, treats to make the season sweeter, and other small surprises that capture the spirit of Christmas. Every kid deserves a spoiled and joyful Christmas, that's why we've decided to come together to create these gift packages to support the Nelson community. The students have struck a relationship with the Salvation Army to distribute through their annual Toy drive.

We are asking for your support to achieve our goal of making Christmas a little more special. With everyone's help, we can ensure families, and especially children, has a holiday to remember. This project is not just about giving items; it’s about spreading kindness and showing that we all care. Together, let’s make this Christmas brighter for children in Nelson!
