Sprung Floor for Dance School

At Thames Hauraki Dance Theatre, we have a wonderful large space to dance in but a very hard concrete floor. To make this safe for our dancers, we need to lay a sprung floor which will help prevent injuries and provide a better environment for our community to enjoy dance and yoga.

As our dancers jump, turn, twirl and leap, there needs to be a level of shock absorption that regular concrete, tiles or timber over concrete cannot provide.

If the underlying surface has no 'give' this significantly impacts the ability of a dancer to perform at their best and can lead to injuries.
