St Johns Church Hall Johnsonville lounge rebuild
To raise funds to go toward demolishing and rebuilding a self-sufficient hall lounge which will be available for everyone to use.

St Johns Church Hall is over 80 years old and an add on lounge is over 70 years. The lounge is in a poor state of repair, so the plan is to demolish it and rebuild a self-contained lounge. Going back to our hall, the users include - mainly music, ballet, antenatal classes, St Johns Ambulance, Harbour Hill Line Dancers, Scottish Country Dancers, and Probus. The lounge will be an asset for everyone to use. The rebuild has a projected shortfall of up to $30,000, hence the creation of a Givealittle Page to raise that amount.

After a delay of nearly a year due to a change of two builders and Covid-19 the new builder started the demolition of the old lounge last week. The lounge has been scaffolded with a white wrap over it to enable work to be carried out in wet weather. It is expected to take around 8 - 10 weeks to complete. Your donation which is very much appreciated has contributed to the full amount being raised.
