We rescued the calves in the words of Jacqui Emmett from Little LARA - Little Acres Rescue Animals, because, ""it is a life, a very precious life and very much worth saving and helping"". Despite the ridicule by some and the tears by us when our efforts could not save some, we persisted. We just kept going without hesitation. And we will not stop. All the calves are in forever homes, but four still need ongoing financial support. We committed to them for life and we will not back down on that. Next year we want to save more lives and we are appealing to you for help in fundraising. If you believe in what we did , please share this link on your page so we can build a calf shed next year. Together we can make a difference and show the world that all animals are of equal worth. They are not waste We are putting our efforts into raising money for next years rescue. Please help us achieve our goal.

Yesterday we delivered Gus, Eluard, Vincent and Goliath to their new forever home. They love the new lush paddocks on nine acres which is their furever home. Photos below. They are so tame and content, and were an absolute joy to handle. No worries getting them in the trailer and they followed us to their new paddock. These babies are so trusting as they have only experienced human compassion (apart from being initially taken from their mothers)! We saved them from the bobby truck and rescued them from the farming industry. They make wonderful pets and have been rehomed for life. Please help us fundraise for thier ongoing upkeep and for the new calf shed next year. Thank you

Enter details of your update here Barnaby Lives! Little Barnaby an undersize jersey given to us was deathly ill. But with constant nursing and a vet he is now well, and WILL survive! Not having enough colostrum after birth, and not having his intake of milked colostrum monitored, Barnaby scoured and became so unwell at one point that he was 'cast' to the ground and near point of death. He had Anti Biotics, treatment for scours, and was brought inside, but it was still 'touch and go'. Today, after literally sleeping with him, and squeezing the teat to get precious electrolytes into him and nutrition... he is alive and well again! It's been 'round the clock' work and here he is today with 'the boys' and doing great!
