Dad had been struggling with headaches, nausea along with Weight loss since December,

His GP sent him for both CT and MRI scan and this reveals a large mass in his right Brain hemisphere.

He was Sent to wellington to the special Neurology acute unit Wellington Hospital.

Neurology Team visit Dad, more scans and tests, then discussions about surgery were had.

Dad is diagnosed with Glioblastoma grade IV which is aggressive. They remove 90% of the mass and now we are entering into the treatment Phase. Dad and Kate are putting their stuff into storage while we all attend to the business end of treatment and recovery. We don’t know how long this will be and we know sick pay will run out and we would love to have one last trip with dad to a fun north island venue, probably Rotorua, Taupo, Dad wants to spend time with Kate, us kids Demelza, Gemma and Brad and Demelza’s child Phaedra to spend as much quality time as possible making memories to last and sustain us all. Lots of people asked how they can help and if they can give some money so we decided this would be the best way to do it.
