One journey ends another Begins
24 August 2021Steve has finished a tough 6 weeks of treatment and now we head to the recovery from treatment phase of the journey.
We’ve been told that the first couple of weeks will be very taxing on his body, very tired and muscle soreness.
After that we are expecting a progressive improvement for the 6 weeks after the four of recovery.
In another month we go to Wellington for CT and MRI to see how effective the treatment has been, and what the plan is from there.
This may include another round of chemo but this will be determined by efficacy of the first lot of treatment.
The children are in the planning stage of the holiday and are very excited of having quality time with dad. So expected an update soon of the anticipated journey that you all have contributed to make happen. Family continually to be overwhelmed by all the support for their dad and the flow affect for them. Thank you all for you wonderful generosity.
Here is a photo of Steve with our friend Véronique having a lunch at Mediterranean Food Warehouse in Wellington.
He is now sporting a Telly Savalas Hair do but without the lollipop.
