Covid-19 meant that some older people were more vulnerable to elder abuse and neglect as they were isolated from their usual supports. Age Concern New Zealand wants to help all older people who feel unsafe in their own homes and highlight this often-hidden issue.

With your support, we can help vulnerable older Kiws feel safe in their own home.

World Elder Abuse Awareness Week runs from 15-22 June and this year the focus is on why ‘Elder Abuse hits close to home.’
