GET Design & Sales Ltd is a kitset building company that have left many customers $1000s out of pocket with non-delivery & broken promises. When taken to the disputes tribunal they don't show and don't pay. The police have been contacted, but just say it's a civil matter. Customer Scott Walls of New Plymouth, owed $12295 issued a statutory demand which GET Design did not pay by the due date of April 11. I am supporting Scott in pursuing a liquidation of GET Design. Realistically there may be nothing to claim. The GET Design director claims the company has "no assets". As such, the expensive process of liquidating GET Design will really only be of benefit to society at large, by preventing new customers from paying money for goods that never arrive. As such, we are appealing for the support of all people who are disgusted by the way that companies like this are allowed to operate.

I, Steve Wrathall of Palmerston North contracted with GET Design and Sales on 31 October 2016 for the supply of a kitset sleepout to make room for my older boys so our baby could have a room of her own. I paid in full $11,975, with an agreed delivery on 9 January. Yet nothing arrived then or since. According to the GET Design director, the kitset was completed by 23 November by a builder called “Rob” in the Wellington region, and was not delivered because he took another job. Yet she could not supply the details of this builder or even his surname. The Disputes Tribunal awarded me $12575 which GET did not pay by the due date of 29 March.
Funds raised will be used, in the first instance to pay Foster & Milroy Lawyers, of Hamilton, the estimated $6000 to prepare a statement of claim and notice of proceeding to wind up GET Design.
