Stop The Bus Film Project - awareness and action against child abuse

  • Stop the Bus Film Project have entered Phase 3 of Fundraising!

    Thank you to everyone who has helped us complete the first 2 phases of fundraising for the Stop the Bus Film Project.

    We are now fundraising to allow us to complete the edit of the Feature Film and for Link Arms Aotearoa which is a bold stand for children happening on NZ Children's Day (March 3rd). This requires many weeks of full-time work as well as specialist support, marketing and website costs. Every small donation to Stop the Bus Charitable Trust is huge in enabling us to complete the Stop the Bus Film Project. Through this project, we seek to elevate the conversation about child abuse and show how we can all be a part of the solution.

  • Goal changed to open goal

    Once again thank you for your continued support of the Stop the Bus film project.

    We have now almost reached our goal of $10,000. This has been paid to the Stop the Bus Charitable Trust in monthly installments over the last year as donations have come in. Because of your support, we have been able to cover vehicle maintenance and travel costs for Stop the Bus.

    We now have just a few weeks left of the travel stage of filmmaking and so have reached our next stage of planning. We have changed the page goal to open so that we can continue to raise money for the other budget needs of Stop the Bus Charitable Trust:

    These include the organising and filming of link arm events across New Zealand and editing of the Stop the Bus documentary.

    If we do happen to raise more money than the STBCT budget requirements the excess will be donated to a nominated New Zealand charity that shows value to NZ children.

    Kia ora everyone, our givealittle page expired last week however we wish to advise you that we are reopening the page as we continue to seek funding support. Stop the Bus Charitable Trust are very grateful to all those who have supported this project to date which is helping us raise awareness about child abuse and empower more people to be a part of the solution.     As of 1 August 2017 the Stop the Bus Charitable Trust continues to seek funding support. We have reopened this page to provide you with a means to continue support for this cause. The Stop The Bus film project aims to raise awareness about child abuse and to empower communities to make a stand for their children. We thank you for your help in making this project possible.
