Stranded in Israel

Hi, my name is Robert Perham, and I’m reaching out for your help. In October 2024, I embarked on a deeply personal pilgrimage to Israel, driven by my faith and my journey of healing from PTSD. This trip was not just a spiritual mission—it was also an opportunity to connect with communities affected by the tragic events of October 7, 2023, and to offer support to those in need.

I sold my only worldly possession to fund a one-way ticket, trusting that my mission would bring awareness and support. Unfortunately, plans for free accommodation fell through just as I boarded my flight, forcing me to spend my limited savings on shelter. While I’ve accomplished much of what I set out to do, the unexpected financial strain has left me facing an urgent crisis.

Despite the kindness of a few friends and family members, donations have run dry. Within a week, I will be without a place to stay, far from home, and without the means to return to New Zealand.

I’m asking for your help to raise enough funds for a ticket home and temporary accommodation while I work on finding other ways to support myself. Your generosity can provide the stability I need to navigate this challenging time and continue rebuilding my life.
