Taranaki
Charl Jacobs put on one a hell of a performance at the Naki semifinal this past Sunday, and depending what team you were supporting, some say it was the highlight of the match.
After being slapped with a 2 year bar from Yarrows Stadium, slanted media articles and now battling with a $1000 fine, we have decided to come to the aid of this Taranaki legend.
As a Otago University alumni and avid sports fan, Charl has always been up for getting nude and having a little run. Not only did Charl’s run bring so much joy to an otherwise depressing game of rugby for Taranaki fans, it also reignited the age-old debate of whether or not streaking belongs in the beautiful game. After reading some p*** poor editorials like this one (http://www.stuff.co.nz/taranaki-daily-news/opinion/85708397/EDITORIAL-Streaker-exposed-more-than-just-himself), we all know it belongs.
The fund has been kick started by a $100 donation by the legendary Marc Ellis, and any contributions are appreciated thereafter. For every dollar donated over the $1000 fine, this will be given to the Movember Foundation.
Note: This page has been set up by supporters of Mr Jacobs.
Charl is a stand up bloke and we all know a good cause when we see one!
