Tully Hately and Jim Stenberg are competing together in this year's community fundraiser "Strictly Sumner".
Canterbury
Strictly Sumner is a community fundraising event with 10 charities in total represented:
Sumner Community Residents Association, Taylors Mistake Surf Lifesaving Club, Sumner Lifeboat, Scumna Youth/FUSE, Christchurch Coastal Pathway, Sumner School, Our Lady Star of the Sea School, Sumner Skate Area and Village Green, Sumner Junior Rugby, and Sumner Tennis & Squash Club.
All funds raised on the night are shared between these charities however all GIVEALITTLE proceeds go directly to Fuse and Scumna Youth and are not shared.
Help Tully & Jim raise funds for Fuse and Scumna Youth.
Fuse is a Sumner Youth Centre that serves the local community by connecting with all of the local primary schools and Van Ashe Deaf Centre, as well as running after school programmes, Friday nights, and holiday programmes for young people. Fuse employs two full time youth workers, and is funded by donations. It caters for primary and secondary school children.
Scumna Youth is a large Sumner youth group for high school students and young people. The youth meet regularly for varied activities and support groups, and have a fantastic group of leaders.
Tully and Jim have chosen Fuse and Scumna Youth as their chosen charities. I am the event organiser and have set up this page on their behalf. All funds received on this page will be paid to Fuse and Scuma Youth.
