Yvonne A stroke victum is seeking support to attend her art exhibition

Northland

Kia ora,

In 2002 Yvonne had a massive stroke while attending Toihoukura school of Arts in Gisbourne. The stroke left her unable to walk and she has some speech impediment. Dispite her health set back, she returned to her place of study and passed. Her passion is working with clay, and some 4 years ago she started to enjoy it again. 16 years later, Yvonne is now having a joint art exhibition to be held at the Tairawhiti Musuem. A place that holds memories of happiness and new learning for her. Help Yvonne achieve her goal to travel, stay in accommodation that suits her wheel chair and enjoy a journey that was cut short back in 2002.
