This page was created to support Xavier and his family and raise money to help support the ongoing treatment for his recovery.
Christchurch, Canterbury
Xavier Connolly, aged 16, was recently involved in a serious motorbike accident on Tuesday 17th of May. The accident has been life-changing for him and has caused extreme emotional and physical trauma. He had dreamt of getting a motorbike and saved up for so long from working at his part-time job. The accident caused him to break his femur and knee cap. He has fractures on his spine and fractured ribs, and lacerations to his spleen. He has had two surgeries since the accident and is still recovering in the hospital. Xavier is a talented sportsperson who has represented at a National and regional level for boxing and was planning to compete at the next NZ Nationals this year. A little support would mean so much to him, his friends and whānau and to help him get the necessary treatment he will require for a speedy recovery ❤️
Me (Xaviers gf) and some of Xavier’s friends came up with the idea of this page to help support him and his family through these tough times.
Donations will cover short/long-term treatments not covered by ACC. At this stage, it is unknown what other costs may arise but funds will be used to support Xavier with whatever he may need. Donations will be paid to his mother - Amanda Williams.
