Hi, I am a school student based at Hutt Valley High School. It is my ambition to volunteer as a working bee in the Vietnam Community Service Tour in July 2017.
Antipodeans Abroad offers Community Service Tours that take students to developing countries.
I will be challenged and experience leadership that will immerse me totally in a different culture.
A key element of the Antipodeans Abroad experience is the community project, where I shall be given a real opportunity to assist those less fortunate than ourselves. I will spend 10,days in a small community during which time I will have the chance to interact with the local people on a project - painting, construction,teaching games or English.
In addition to the challenges I'll face overseas my initial challenge is raising funds prior to departure to cover the costs of the Tour.
Since embarking on this volunteer project, I've been working hard to meet my fundraising goal.
Creating this page signals I'm already at work to this amazing cause.

All funds raised go towards the cost set by Antipodeans Abroad for travel, accommodation whilst in Vietnam, where I shall be contributing by time and efforts by undertaking a working project that will benefit the Vietnam community.
