Sudan Muaythai Federation is raising funds for our TEAM SUDAN FIGHTERS to prepare for and compete at the IFMA ARAB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our TEAM SUDAN young and Aspiring Muaythai Athletes in Sudan have showed courage' strength and heart in their quest to compete along side many Countries and their athletes at various IFMA (International Federation Muaythai Amatuer) International Tournaments -

The young team have competed in 2019 ARAB Championships in AbuDhabi - this was their first real opportunity to represent themselves; their gyms and their country Sudan at International Tournaments - An opportunity they took and achieved extremely well, gaining huge experience at International Competition and testing themselves against other countries - We were extremely proud of this and they took a SILVER and a BRONZE Medal back to Sudan -

Recently in November 2021 - With Sudan in the middle of a Military Coup and their country and streets in turmoil the team managed to hold together and use their frustrations and struggles to give them strength getting to Egypt to compete in the IFMA AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - they overcome all obstacles and barriers and made a significant statement coming home with SIX MEDALS A GOLD MEDAL, and SILVER AND BRONZE Medals - this is a massive achievement - Out of * competing countries SUDAN CAME THIRD OVERALL - AMAZING!

The Sudan Muaythai Federation was established in 2018 by Faisal Abubaker ( a Former world champion Sudanese Muaythai Fighter ) and his Wife Caitalin Abubaker ( a New Zealander) The purpose of the Federation was to develop and nurture the sport of Muaythai in Sudan - to provide for young Sudanese Muaythai athletes' as well as direction, purpose and hope, the opportunity to compete on the International stage and have the opportunity to achieve their potential in Muaythai and become World champions in their own right, to give them the opportunity to grow with the sport and have it eventually become a source of income to support their families in Sudan - to establish an easier path for the young athletes than Faisal himself had decades earlier -

The next International Tournament the SIDAN MUAYTHAI FEDERATION and TEAM SUDAN have been asked to attend is the 2022 JANUARY ARAB CHAMPIONSHIPS in ABU DHABI - this is incredibly exciting for the team and we are confident they will represent proudly themselves as young athletes, their gyms in Sudan, the Federation and their COUNTRY of SUDAN.

To register and compete at this tournament, like all International Amatuer Competition is costly, costing the Federation THOUSANDS in registration fee and Expenses - with the situation in Sudan being difficult The Federation has not yet managed to secure government funding for the Federation and team so we are on our own to make these young Champions Dreams come true!

We are asking for financial contributions to help us keep striving with our TEAM Sudan and our Federation's work to have our TEAMS compete in ABU DHABI ARAB CHAMPIONSHIPS - your contributions however small are greatly significant in our work and ensuring this team has what they need to prepare and compete and achieve at The tournament.
