We’re raising funds for suicide awareness and prevention by walking from 7pm-7am on Friday 25th July 2025 🤍

Kia ora whānau,
On Friday 25th July 2025 my inspiring fiancé, Taruia, has decided to walk from 7pm to 7am at the Rotorua lake front, embracing the darkness and the cold to symbolise the struggle of facing depression.
He’s aiming to raise awareness about the prevalence of mental illness, and is hoping to show that even during the darkest of times simply putting one foot in front of the other will eventually lead you to the light again. Together we can foster a culture of understanding, empathy, and support.
However, we understand that because of the conditions, many might not want to join in physically and that’s okay. With that being said, we would greatly appreciate any donations (big or small!) that we can pass on to organisations that do essential work with suicide pre- and post-vention.
Thank you for reading 🤍
Liv & Taruia
