Help for Boholanos Victim of Supertyphoon Odette

Invercargill, Southland

Once again Bohol is face with another tragedy. Super typhoon Odette hit Bohol last Decemeber 16,2021.. thousands of homeless people, no electricity, people who cant connect to their family from far away, in need of help, in need of food and water… A nightmare before Christmas.

While we celebrate Christmas in a warm home with a complete meal, let us remember that some people will be celebrating them with no roof in head. No food and water to share. Uncertainty as up to when they can get back up again.

This is a long shot , but im planning to do a crowdfunding for a cause. All money collected will be sent to Philippines in partnership with local government officials of Dait Norte Buenavista Bohol and Tribu Pil-bas for purchase of food and water to be repacked and distributed. I am also planning to partner with government for purchase of home building materials such as wood and roof to help people rebuild their homes.

Funds will be sent to my cousin Cindy Marie Anora. Cindy will buy goods from a nearby city prioritising canned goods, noodles, drinking water, sacks of rice then repacked to the number of families in the community ( data taken from local government) with the help of our families. We will be coordinating with Dait Norte Local Barangay (Community) Officials ( current captain is our cousin) for the safe and peaceful distribution of relief packs.

Kind Regards,

Please let us bring back smile to people who shed tears in this very unfortunate calamity .

Daghang Salamat!!

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
